In the second semester Yukon High School is partnering with OSU-OKC to offer courses for our students to be a qualified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).  Any junior or senior who is interested should come to the ReThink Session (room TBA) on October 23rd and hear from OSU-OKC on the requirements and be able to ask any questions.  The program does require a student to enroll in eleven hours at OSU-OKC for semester two and the classes are in the evening.  YHS counselors will work with each student who enrolls on adjusting their course load at YHS.  A student who enrolls would be able to take less classes at YHS during the day to accommodate the evening college classes.  If a student enrolls in the EMT program for the second semester they can be a EMT by the end of this school year!

Yearbooks are still available for purchase for $68. You can order online through Jostensyearbooks.com or in room S105 with cash or a check made payable to YHS.
